- Ergonomic "aim-and-shoot" design is intuitive to
use and minimizes operator training.
- HotShot™'s excellent scanning range and large
"sweet spot" reads UPC/EAN bar codes from contact to 11 inches/27.8 cm, and 5
mil high-density bar codes from 0.5"/1.3 cm to 2.5"/6.4 cm.
- The heart of the HotShot™ Scanner is Symbol's acclaimed
SE 1200 Series Scan Engine. Advanced bar code reading capability includes a variety of bar
code sizes, and even poorly printed and low-contrast symbols.
- Symbol's patented Mylar™ scan element eliminates wear
providing years of dependable performance, and uses less power, extending battery
life in portable applications.
- In addition to the onboard RS-232 or Keyboard Wedge

- Protective elastometric rubber overmolds absorb impact,
